Cowboys Stadium Information

Cowboys Stadium is the home of the Dallas Cowboys. Opened in 2009 the stadium is one of the largest in the NFL. This venue replaces the aging Texas stadium and is now used for a multitude of sports and competitive functions. It has been home to events as varied as rodeos and boxing tournaments. With a seating capacity of over 80,000 this new venue is expected to host some of the largest events in the nation. With its retractable dome Cowboys Stadium is among the most advanced venues in the world and can host a diverse multitude of events.

The Cowboys Stadium features many surprising elements to its gargantuan design. Perhaps the first thing one would notice is that the stadium lacks columns. Usage of modern architecture creates a spacious environment. This allows the field to be viewed from all angles. By developing such a large facility a multitude of public events can be hosted. Rock shows and large religious ceremonies have all been held at this illustrious location. It is important to consider that parking at the stadium's lot can be quite expensive and it may be beneficial to park at a nearby private lot to save money.

Perhaps most impressive is the monstrous high-definition video screen. This display is over 175 feet in size and built around a massive array of LEDs. The high-definition display provides a crisp image visible from anywhere in the seating areas. The sheer size of the display has landed the screen in the Guinness World Records as the largest screen in the world. Perhaps most impressive is the pixel technology which allows the images to actually display a higher quality output than 1080p high-definition displays. It is notable that punters have struck the scoreboard with unusually high kicks. When this occurs the ball is still considered in play.

Another great addition is that going to the concession stand won't prevent you from seeing any of the action. Cowboys Stadium has over 3000 Sony video screens allowing patrons to not miss a second of the action. Also included is one of the largest retractable roofs in the world. Good weather will allow the game to be played in an outdoor environment while inclement weather will result in a closing of the dome. Cowboys Stadium will host far more than just NFL football. Large rock concerts have been held on the ground as have religious ceremonies. Even world championship boxing matches have been held at the center of the stadium. Over time it is expected that a multitude of different events will be hosted.

The Dallas Cowboys are one of the most famous teams in the NFL. It is fitting that their stadium be a glorious tribute to modern technology and a great design. Massive video displays take the audience closer to the action than ever before. Well placed video monitors keep visitors current on all action on the field. Perhaps most impressive, this modern marvel creates an experience that one will never forget and will be the home of many great spectacles to come.
